Virginia Festival of the Book

I’m leaving tomorrow for Charlottesville, to join some fabulous writers at the Virginia Book festival.  I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces there, including Lee Child, Laura Lippman, Twist Phelan, M.J. Rose, David Montgomery,Elaine Viets, and Lisa Unger.  Plus I’ll get to finally meet George Pelecanos!  Check out the entire guest line-up at their website.

Wish I could be there, but VA is a few too many hours away. But I hope you and the other authors have lots of fun!

    Hey Tess,

This is quite a random comment that has nothing to do with the Virginia Festival, but I need to put it in somewhere!

The 1st book of yours I bought was Vanish, that was in January this year, I’m now on my 7th! Where have you been all my life?! haha 🙂 Body Double is officially the best book I’ve ever read, and without blasting my own trumpet I read a lot! I’ve never been so gripped in my life – I made my mom read it, and she was the same!

Ok I think I’m starting to sound like an obsessive fan – the kind no one wishes to have! (I’m also using way too many !’s)
But dont worry, I live on another continent to you 🙂

    Hello Tess!
My name is Martina and I’m from Croatia. I’ve read two of your books for now, now I’m reading the third one.
I have to say that Surgeon is the best book I’ve ever read in my whole life and I’m very happy for that.
Body double is fabulous, too. I enjoy reading books that involve medicine in, especially because I want to become a doctor. I’m dreaming about that my whole life and I hope that I will made it.
Anyway, I hope that you will have a lot of fun on Virginia festival of the book. 🙂

    Greetings,
    Martina

Hey, Tess, I hope you get a chance to eat at Tiffany’s Fish House (I think that was the name of the place where my family and I ate when we passed through there when I was a kid.) And don’t forget Monticello! 🙂
