Greetings from the Philippines. I read fiction only occasionally but not as a hobby.Last week, I went to a local bookstore and found Harvest. Having been a chaplain resident at MD Anderson, Houston, your novel is super exciting to me. I’ll try to read all your works from now on.

I was watching Oprah and she has some interesting books. I have started Bone Garden but frankly I need to get moving on it.
I blog more then I read. I suppose its because that is just how I work.
Ten hours on a plane, Surely I would just brainstorm about so many things. People tell me I am an endless source of information that really no one seems to ever know about.

Hmmm…. My grandma lived in Molokai for a few years after grandpa passed. I never got around to visiting her out there, though, ’cause it seems like I was always busy with college or wasn’t up to traveling. Still, I’ve been to Hawaii in my lifetime.

I’m sitting at LAX, waiting for the next leg of my flight. With an unexpected six-hour layover, the day’s journey is turning into an 18-hour travel day. And yep, I really still will be in the U.S. — in Honolulu, where my nephew is getting married. This is one case where a family obligation will be a real pleasure — once I get there.
