I liked it so much I bought Kindle versions of all the other books in the series. I think giving away one free book is a good strategy. Based on the discussions on the Kindle forums, a lot of people downloaded it. I'm sure I wasn't the only on who got hooked on the series. As an electronic book convert--I only intend to buy and read books in a format I can read on my Kindle. Yes, unscrupulous people put out unauthorized copies. There's probably not any way to stop that, but I believe most people are honest and are willing to pay for their electronic books. This seems to be an unavoidable reality. On the other hand, this same phenomenon may help to create more readers for the authors and possibly increase the sale of the print version of their books.
