Ban my book. Please.

I expand on the topic of book banning over on today.

Now I’m off to Jackson Hole for 10 days, on a research trip!

What the hell has gotten into everybody? I can see banning food or drink due to e. coli or certain drugs due to tampering, but where do we draw the line? The Bible is full of sex. Is this next on the list. Maurice Sendek? One of the greatest authors of our time? Are we to ban Dr. Suess’ “Are you my Mother” because Protective Services thinks it’s not right to seek out a “biological” parent in a book? I won’t even get into Herman Melville’s Moby Dick or Wendy Wasserstein’s The Vagina Chronicles. Do we ban these because of the titles? Hey Tess, what about Intercourse, Pennsylvania or even Jackson Hole? Are cities next? When will it end?
Ban your books, Tess? I’ll answer plainly and simply…..HELL NO!!

    Hi Tess,
I am hoping that we all , soon , will have another book of yours to enjoy. It seems like forever since the last one. But am sure it does not seem that way to you. Like a hike in the mountains, if you rush it what have you enjoyed?? Relax, enjoy life, each day, each moment, and be happy.

I hope you have a great time in Jackson…was just by there in Yellowstone. Weather was perfect and the scenery was breath taking.

Sounds like a fascinating vacation. I spent my vacation in colorado reading The Surgeon. What a fascinating book, Scared me to death! I’m know reading The Apprentice. I have to say your books are some of the best in medical thrillers. Every detail is precise and to the point. I admire your brilliant creativity. I will be seeing you at the physicians medical writing conference and look forward to meeting you. Oh, by the way I have an idea for your next book.
