Classic TV Doctors
Just got sent a link to this site — a fun look at TV doctors. Hoping that Maura Isles will soon join the top-10 list!
And speaking of Maura Isles, check out another publicity photo of Angie Harmon (Jane) and Sasha Alexander (Maura).

A conversation with the executive producer of “Rizzoli & Isles”
Check out the wonderful interview with Janet Tamaro, the writer and executive producer of the show. She talks about the characters and how they relate to her own life.
When Amazon blogs and tweets… readers listen
I really haven’t been paying much attention to the sales indices of the various e-book editions of my books. But yesterday, I heard that Amazon Kindle had just blogged and tweeted about the new $1.99 edition of my book THE SURGEON. To be honest, I didn’t know that there was a Kindle blog and an Amazon Tweet.
Within a day, my index for THE SURGEON, Kindle edition, had shot up from the 60,000 range to … #1!
I don’t know how long it will hold on in that position. But for one brief shining moment — it’s there.
Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander talk about their roles
A really nice video overview of the new show, “Rizzoli & Isles.”
My video interview is up on the TNT website!
Where I talk about the transition of my characters to the TV series.
THE SURGEON e-book editions now on sale for $1.99
Amazon’s now selling the Kindle edition of THE SURGEON, with bonus materials, at a bargain price. BN as well has their e-book edition available on the Nook for the same low price.
If you haven’t read my books, e-books are a thrifty way to try one.
And hop over to Murderati to see my blog post “Oh, Canada!”
Rizzoli & Isles photos
I ran across this photo on a Brazilian website. Here are characters Jane and Maura, Korsak, Frankie Rizzoli (Jane’s brother, who’s a cop in the show) and Barry Frost. Yep, Frost is now African American, and played by a wonderful young actor named Lee Thompson Young.
More Rizzoli & Isles updates!
The part of Jane’s dad has been cast: and it‘s Chazz Palminteri!
Also, here’s a video from the set of the Rizzoli & Isles photo shoot.
the mystery of humor
What makes something funny? Check out my blog on this topic over on Murderati.
And over on the TNT website, the “Rizzoli & Isles” fan forum is now up and ready for comments.
